About ScarX

ScarX ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered chart analysis platform accessible at scarx.tech. ScarX enables users to upload trading charts and receive AI-generated analysis modelled on publicly documented investment frameworks associated with notable investors and traders.

ScarX is operated as an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of the investors, traders, or individuals whose names or strategies are referenced on the platform. All strategy frameworks are educational interpretations based on publicly available information.

Eligibility

By using ScarX, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Are not located in a jurisdiction where use of such a service is prohibited by law
• Are not using ScarX on behalf of any sanctioned entity or in violation of any applicable export control laws

If you are using ScarX on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Not Financial Advice

Nothing on ScarX should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. You acknowledge that:

• Trading financial markets involves substantial risk of loss, including the possible loss of your entire investment
• Past performance of any strategy is not indicative of future results
• AI-generated analysis may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation
• You are solely responsible for any trading decisions you make
• You should consult a qualified financial adviser before making any investment decisions

ScarX, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or adverse outcomes resulting from your use of or reliance on any content generated by the platform.

Account Registration

To access certain features of ScarX, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party
• Notify us immediately at support@scarx.tech if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including accounts created using disposable email addresses or for fraudulent purposes.

You may not create more than one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or obtain free access to paid features is a violation of these Terms.

Subscriptions & Billing

ScarX offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Monthly subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Lifetime access is a one-time payment granting access to Pro features for the lifetime of the ScarX product. This does not guarantee perpetual operation of the service.
• All payments are processed securely via Stripe. ScarX does not store your payment card details.
• Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change. We will provide notice of price changes before they take effect.
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with your subscription.
• Usage limits (analyses per day) apply as described on the pricing page and may be updated with reasonable notice.

To cancel your subscription, you may do so at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund Policy

Due to the digital and AI-powered nature of our service, we generally do not offer refunds after a charge has been processed. However:

• If you experience a technical failure that prevents you from accessing the service you paid for, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate and may issue a refund or credit at our discretion.
• Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
• Lifetime purchases are non-refundable except in cases of verified technical failure.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@scarx.tech within 30 days of the charge.

We reserve the right to offer refunds on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ScarX to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable any security feature, access control, or usage limit
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform using automated means without prior written consent
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of ScarX
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt the platform
• Impersonate any person, entity, or investor referenced on the platform
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit ScarX analysis outputs without written permission
• Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or overburden our infrastructure
• Upload chart images that contain personal data, private information, or content that infringes third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use requirements without notice or refund.

Intellectual Property

ScarX content: All elements of the ScarX platform — including its design, software, branding, user interface, written content, and AI analysis frameworks — are the exclusive intellectual property of ScarX and its operators. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Your content: You retain ownership of any chart images you upload to ScarX. By uploading images, you grant ScarX a limited, non-exclusive licence to process those images solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service. We do not claim ownership of your uploads and do not use them to train AI models.

Strategy frameworks: The investor strategy frameworks referenced on ScarX (e.g. "Soros Reflexivity", "PTJ Momentum") are educational interpretations of publicly documented investment philosophies. They are not the proprietary property of the named individuals, nor do we claim any affiliation with those individuals.

AI outputs: AI-generated analysis produced by ScarX is provided for your personal use only. You may not republish, resell, or commercially distribute AI outputs without our written permission.

AI-Generated Content

ScarX uses large language model AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate chart analysis. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated analysis may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations
• The AI does not have real-time market data and cannot guarantee accuracy of price levels
• AI outputs should be treated as a starting point for your own research, not as definitive trading signals
• The quality of analysis depends on the quality of the chart image provided
• ScarX makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• Outputs vary and the same chart may produce different analysis on different occasions

Privacy & Data

Your privacy matters to us. By using ScarX, you agree to our handling of your data as described below:

• We collect your email address and authentication data to provide account functionality, processed via Supabase.
• We collect subscription and payment data via Stripe. We do not store full card details.
• Chart images you upload are processed by Anthropic's API to generate analysis. Images are not stored permanently and are not used to train AI models.
• We may collect usage data (number of analyses, features used) to improve the platform.
• We send transactional emails (welcome, subscription confirmation) via Resend. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Disclaimers

ScarX is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content
• Warranties that the platform will be available in all geographic regions

We do not warrant or represent that ScarX is suitable for use as a basis for financial decisions. Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScarX and its operators, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any trading losses or financial damages arising from use of or reliance on ScarX analysis
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from service interruptions, errors, or security breaches
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid to ScarX in the 12 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScarX and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to:

• Your use of or access to ScarX
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any trading decisions made based on ScarX analysis

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to ScarX at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Failure to pay subscription fees
• At our sole discretion for any operational reason

Upon termination, your right to use ScarX ceases immediately. Sections relating to disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@scarx.tech.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of ScarX shall be resolved as follows:

• You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@scarx.tech
• If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction
• You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against ScarX to the extent permitted by applicable law

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify registered users via email for material changes
• Give at least 14 days' notice before material changes take effect

Your continued use of ScarX after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using ScarX and may cancel your subscription.
